I bought a used Kayak last Thursday night.
All good there. Bought a new paddle from Dick's Sporting goods, all good there.
Took it out after going cast netting for mullet at Villano rocks, All good.
Went to Hospital creek and reclaimed my title as the Pinfish king, Ok.
Loaded up home and to cap off such a good day I think I will go shopping for a new truck to go with my kayak since some lady did a U turn in front of me on SR 13 north of St. Augustine.

At least you still have the Kayak! And you get a new truck! Sorry to hear how your day ended though.

The truck was a 97 Chevy that was only worth maybe $3,000 due to age and mileage.
I ran great and everything was working on it up till then.
I had just fixed the U-joints, Battery, A/C, fuel pump, new tires, and water pump all within the last two years. I was planning to run it until I had the wife's truck paid off, buy another vehicle and trade this one in on a boat. My plans seem never to work out as hoped it seems.

My father said the kayak was the reason for the wreck.
I asked why he thought that.
He said "if you hadn't gone fishing you wouldn't have been there in the first place."

I'm a newbie as well but love kayaking fishing already.. I happen to be selling my truck if you want a bad ass monster truck. It's on my website at www.buyfromme.me along with some weapons and dj equipment.

That sucks man. Glad you're ok, though. My buddy was sitting at a light and got rear-ended by a freakin' semi! Turned his 4-door truck into a compact.
