Went out today with Ratherbefishing. Got on the water around noon and stayed out until around 430pm. The wind was very strong but we mangaged several rat reds at Oak harbour. We decided since we had fiddlers to try some sheeps but the tide was low and wind and current were ripping. Exposed oysters with a swaying boat equals hull repairs in my experience. After getting beat up trying to fish the pilins we decided to head south and fish some creeks toward Pablo creek. It ended up being just what we needed. We found a nice spot and caught a flounder, Slot red, and slot Black Drum all back to back. We also pulled up several more rats. I have to say it turned out to be not so bad of a trip once your ears and fingers went numb. Good luck everyone and Happy Holidays.

Stoked we stumbled onto that spot in the residential dock area! Thats going to be my goto area for when the wind is kicking now...never thought we would get those quality fish there. Weird part is, not one trout was caught on the popping cork/shrimp rig all day. Felt like we were fishing in a hurricane all day, but hey, can't catch fish if your sitting on the couch!
