Thanks all for the constructive feedback. I shouldn't have referred to this as a trolley.

Regarding the pulling of the anchor, I agree that it is probably going to suck. I'm toying with the idea of adding 4-5' of thinner rope attached to a small float that will submerge with the anchor. When I take up the line and the anchor is all the way to the pulley, I can grab the now surfaced float and pull the anchor towards me (in theory). :blackeye:

Well, for at least now anyway, I'm going to have go that route until I think of something else. I was hoping to get out on Saturday, but I might have to travel for work... So maybe next weekend before I see how if shakes out.

I took a retractable dog leash that has 24' of line and make an anchor out of chain and lead duct taped. It works great.
