I love my G-zone.

not as fast as my wifes but then somtimes mine has coverage and hers does not. she has one of the new samsungs. at first i wished i had got one like hers as well. but after jumping in the spring from 10 feet up and going down about 6 feet or so, mine worked fine. plus i am always working in the rain with it with no worfries. it has done everything i have needed.

if you dunk it in salt water, it may work when dried but it could get worse in high humidity conditions because of the salt left behind. rinsing in fresh water with alcohol can help before the drying process, though it may further puke your phone.

During the Sat. storm my phone got wet and found that some of the functions no longer worked. Thanks to Scot a/k/a Mountaindewman, he gave me a suggestion to try something that would help to dry the phone. I put the phone in a ziplock bag filled with white rice. (remove the battery) Leave in bag for 12+ hours. Happy to announce that it worked

Just wanted to share with everyone if you are having the same problem.

Just an update on my original post......

R.I.P.

While the "waterproof" phones are great, those were not the phones I wanted. Ended up with an EVO 4G and a zip-lock bag. Seems to be the answer to my problems :thumbleft:
