the way i had the yaks on there was just not convenient to load and unload, so chopped it off and lowered it and put round bars across the bed, the fish n dive sits on Malone seawings, the Ride 115 has did not sit well on seawings so it is on SUP foam cushions, i made a rack on the front to keep my cooler when i go camping, i finished up the tailgate and put herculiner in the bed

hey that tan one looks familiar lol :D

without the kayaks it weighs just over 500 lbs, a little on the heavy side but it travels well, Redfisher1 and myself went to the Keys with it last Thanksgiving and it pulled really well, If I ever get my jeep finished I think it will be great behind it

That is a serious build man! You must be one determined man to wire wheel that much, I did an old beach cruiser and a go cart before and that is not fun work. Your finished product is a one of a kind sweet a$$ trailer tho! That behind a matching army jeep would be awesome.

LOL had some of them trailers at one of the units I was stationed at. You did a lot of work but the end result is nice! Ours had a doughnut type hitch and 24V lighting. Did you have to change out the lights? Some of our new vehicles wouldn't connect to some of our trailers due to the 24V lighting. So I just purchased some 12V generic trailer lights and mounted them so they could be removed quickly. Would love to see your Jeep when you get a chance!

yes when i got it was wired for 24 volts, like you i rewired it for 12 volt just for ease of hooking up to multiple vehicles, as far as the jeep, I would love to see it myself lol, it is a 78 CJ7 that I am in the middle of a frame up restoration, it is in piles in my shop right now, been working on it as time permits for the last 4 months, hoping to have it done by Jeeptoberfest

That is a man's trailer! You earned huge style points on that one. Who cares if you could have saved money buying a new one. You can't buy one like that. It's one of a kind. :salute:
