any word yet on shrimp near palatka yet, going to give it a try and also to see if the blue crab population has gotten better. I heard that the salt content in the St Johns is up and that may be keeping the shrimp from an early start, any news about shrimp in the st johns is appreciated.

No word on the shrimp and here on the river I would know. Blue crabs are in the river by my craber friends reports.
I would say salt levels are high with no rains but by how much I do not know. Seen some schools of pogies crusing by the
dock but nothing tearing them up like jack crevalle which come down here in real salty conditions.
