Put in at Sherman Creek this afternoon. Drifted out with the tide throwin' a gold spoon to the edge; saw a couple reds feedin' but got no strikes. Got out on a hard flat and threw cast net; tons of finger mullet. Hooked up on nice ladyfish. Waited for tide to come up and paddled over to that huge cove. Was fishin' the south grass edge when I hooked up on oversize red; abused me on 6' Ugly Stik and 8lb. mono and broke me off; Grabbed 8' medium heavy rod with 16lb. mono and cast towards the edge and hooked up on 23" red. Saw several reds feedin' here. Saw a couple dolphin torpedoin' fish. Have seen many reds feedin' here in the middle of the tide over the years.

morgan, you want some good redfish bait? Cut up that ladyfish. It will not be long before mr. redfish is on the line.
