My medium spinning showed up on the front porch the other day. I haven't decided on what I am going to pair with it yet, but it is a sweet rod. I like it so much, that I bought the light spinning 7-footer that Tackle Direct haS paired as a combo with a Shimano Stradic 2500 for $199.99. Also a really sweet deal. The only bummer was that I was a penny short of free shipping, so I had to pick up a Mirrodine 17MR. Actually, the more I think about it, that really isn't a bummer...

just got my medium 10-17lb rod today, and boy is it shiny! I hope I can catch some fish with it
