Gonna be camping out there next month for 5 days. Bringing my yak!!!!!! was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of the area or where I might find some?

Been a few times, nice park and great fishing. You can launch many places at the Fort. Easiest is probably on the right side as you are drive past the 35 cent toll booth just before the bridge in the sandy area. You may want to ask the guys that live in Tampa/St Pete on the Paddle-Fishing.com site.

Great place to fish! It is beautiful and full of fish. Probably good at any of the roadside launches. Watch out for the manatees, they are all over that place this time of year.
