Yea yea yea............................
I may need to sign up for the class too........

A lady told me yesterday (with this worried look on her face)
" we've never had anyone talk to us in that manner"
My response: "you never met me".........

In response to this.....
The other day at walmart a cart hit my truck and left a mark. I was pissed so i took the cart, kicked the $h!t out of it till it fell over on the parking lot, a lady saw this and said "thats real flack man" I responded...are u talking to me? "yes im talking to you, thats not cool, kicking that cart over and all, no need for that"...(me) there was no need for the cart keeper to leave this cart to hit my truck. (lady) stupid young kid, dont know anything (me 23 with a very bad attitude by now)....WTF LADY, u know whats not "flack"? You running your mouth to me and minding my business when you should be going in to wally to get some damn depends now move along shuff-a-long shelly....the lady thn flipped me the bird and said some stuff under her breath.
Honestly, im typically not disrespectful. Ive been raised well and as an Eagle Scout, i respect my elders, but occassionally they step out of line and seeing as i was pissed about my baby having a nice scratch.....there was no other option for me at the moment. Guess im one of those "dang youngsters" or w/e.

She was right. No need to act like a douche and go crazy. Its over and done with. Flipping a cart did nothing to remedy the situation and just made you look like a knot head.

maybe so, but hell the cart hit my truck so something had to hit the cart. Just seems logical to me. .....wonders if ^^^ is related to the old lady.
Maybe i didnt need to attack the cart lol, but the lady shoulda been minding her own business. Regardless im sure a cart will bump her someday and her hip will hurt and she will b pissed. And attack the cart ;-) or something like that. as for calling me a douche......loose lines and women headed ur way  :smoke:

I must say that over the years it has cost me a lot of pain and suffering to be "bad tempered "not taking any s*** from anybody". Now I take a second and evaluate what is really important in my life and if it is something material or not really That important,(99% is not) i opt for a much more civilized pattern. Adopting these ideals has helped me vastly in replacing and regaining long lost terrain.
If i lost a fish...at least i was able to be fishing to begin with.
Very few things stay with us long enough through out the course of our lives to have any real meaning, a true friend can be one of those and to me is better than a few fish.
Though Not Your Good friend as of yet...a good friendship can emerge from the time shared in a common hobbie like fishing.
Remember that anger is like grabbing a red hot coal to throw at some one, when it all settles it is most likely YOU the one that got burned the most. Hurting some one either physically or emotionally is hardly a reward. We wish to rewind the tape to no avail and can't take it back.
happy fishing!!

If a big red breaks your line, you gonna start kicking the heck out of your kayak, slamming your rod across the bow, jumping up and down on oyster beds? Sorry, gonna go fishing with some old phart who has their s#@* together :wheelchair:

There's a BIG difference in being rude/arrogant and being angry.
Neither is good for you, or the person/thing on the receiving end.
But, angry can become violent
(I personally dont condone violence in any form, other than self defense)

So what have we learned, Al?

When someone causes you to lose a fish...take out your agressions on a shopping cart.

By the way Pedro...well put. I lived my life for years as if there was a cash prize for 'not taking sh$& from anyone'. I still haven't received a check in the mail.

Some simple yet great advice: "Pick your battles"

Don't go wasting your time/energy/emotion getting upset over something unless there is something you can do to change it. Life is way too short.

LOL... Same here!
