Man, that has got to be the silliest looking kayak I've ever seen...hell, it's not even made out of plastic!! :D

How did you get the Scotty's in the back flushmounts??

I was just curious as to what make and model kayak you are using. It really looks sharp and from the way you talk it must be a really good one. Thanks - Robalito

Kaskazi Dorado from South Africa. :thumbleft: In my opinion the best handling fishing kayak you will find. Well, right along with the Kaskazi Marlin too. :D

I took out the Kaskazi flushmounts in back and put in two Crack of Dawn flushmounts. :)

FireDog,

I didn't take pics of this project. :( All I did was drill out the rivets on the old flushmounts and break out the drimel attachments for enlarging the hole so the Crack of Dawn flushmounts to fit. Then all I did was use a bunch of silicone on the flushmount when mounting it and redrilled holes and rivet it in.

Nope, not totally, but the silicone sealant fills in the gap. :)

Thank you! :thumbleft:
Maybe I'll try to use a pair of Scotty Round Flush Mounts.
