Today was my morning of peace before the craziness - the fishing gods blessed me with beautiful conditions.

Third cast nailed a 20" trout on topwater. Later working a cajun thunder in a different spot for trout got lucky with a 13.5" flattie. Later on after the low tide the red fired off and I got 8 reds, 5 slots to 24". Couldn't find any upgrades or big red but I'll take the legal slam at 57.5"!

Then went and picked up the tshirts for the Classic and sorted prizes all afternoon. Gonna be fun!

Nice job on that slam. I've gotten a few this year but all of the trash can variety. Looking forward to the Classic and seeing all that you have brought about.

Congratulations on the slam. I will bet you were just happy to get out and get some peace from what I am sure is a very busy schedule for you this time of year.
Thanks for what you do for the Kayakers and fishing world. :thumbright:
Seeya at the meeting.

Tight Lines,
Mark

Good report Mike. Do you even get any time in between it all to compete yourself?
