The folks at Gander were wonderful hosts. They set up all the reels I needed for demo with the Emmrods and provided all we required at the store. Traffic was light for the whole store but who the heck can blame anyone for not shopping on a day we could finally get on the water. Had I not been at Gander Mountain I would have been at 206 right out of Genung's Fish Camp. Thanks to Gander and to everyone who braved the wonderful weather and made it over to see us :D . I actually had to sneak past my Wavewalk W500 yesterday morning to get over to Gander. But man was it "POed" when I got home last night.

Jeff, Wendy said she saw you and had a chance for a casting lesson. I also had to work all day and didnt get to take advantage of the wonderful weather, but there will be other days. Great to see you got some local exposure and good luck with the sales!

Jeff, I work right next door, but was too wrapped up to get over to Gander.
Hate to say it, but, Gander is becoming a ghost town. I see very little traffic going in there, it's really no surprise though. They have the highest prices I have ever seen at a retail sporting goods store.

jeff, it was nice to meet you and get a chance to try out the emrod. i was a little skeptical at first but i was pleasantly suprised at the quality and the ability to cast the short rod.

one of these days i may have to meet you at 206 for a day of fishing and see it in action.

Dang! I missed it! I was camping with eight 11y/o girls (and actually fished in Hanna park)
I enjoy yanking your chain about "cb antennae's", but I'd really like to give it a shot. I saw one at a show a while back and the demo was pretty impressive. It looks like it would lend itself well to using in a kayak.
Gonna do it again sometime soon?
