later this spring, I plan on taking my first kayak fishing trip. I am planning on going to Brown Creek or Simpson Creek.

If I go to brown, would it be good to paddle north, turning right into Brown creek, turning right into the first little creek and fishing it and the second little creek there. If not, what would you suggest with an easy paddle.

As far as Simpson, Is it best to go north from the amelia landing area?

How could I spot a good fishing area in either of these areas.

Thanks

You can go either direction at both spots. Just look for exposed oyster beds and little cuts where the current and still water meet. alot of fish hang in these areas and ambush bait. it would be best to go with a 10am low tide and fish the incoming. the sun will heat up the oysters and mud and when the water comes in thats where the fish will be. good luck!

Sorry I missed this but I had something I had to do last night. Did you do any good.

I really don't fish here much but I am going to start fishing out of my kayak to get used to it.

I live on the southwest side. I am the third dock on the northern end of the cabins. If you would like to launch from my dock, feel free. You would be closer to the trees on the west side of the lake.
