]While I don't have these, and I usually don't wear shoes IN my yak anyway, I think they are probably the (assumption based) best fit for a water/sport shoe. That and who doesn't love the feeling of your toesies being free??

Any Crocs sweaty feet issues here or what? That's sometimes my issue! I like the Trailbreak ones. Who's got them :?: .... and who's has the best selection of Crocs in town :?:

Rich,

I've never found anyone in town with a selection of much except the regular clog style.

I bought my Islanders and Axels directly from Crocs on the internet. Haven't tried the new Trailbreak style yet.

For just yakin' and wading around the oyster beds my 7.00 knock-offs from Wal Mart work just fine.

I own the Trailbreaks and got them from the Crocs outlet in St. Auggy! They have a really thick bottom and are tough shoes! I can walk all day on the Oysters without it harming me or the shoes.

I ended up getting a pair of Trailbreak's too and think there the best! Plenty of ventilation and my feet don't sweat anymore. Very comfortable too! A lot better than the cheaper model. Well worth the money I spent.

BTW....Thanks for posting up here about them!!!

So your telling me that i should stop wearing sandals if i even wear shoes? Damnit, i really liked getting my ankle slit up by the oysters back in my favorite spot during low tide. :-( Possibly investing in some Calcs soon. Ankle and bottom of foot are finally healing back up. ;-) Although it doesnt help when u keep going b ack out day after day and not letting it heal. Creatures of habbit we are.

Much of the issue with Crocs is the slip factor both inside and outside the shoe. I wear mine quite a bit but even something as simple as a wet parking lot line is dangerous since the Crocs material with slip on it. Same is true for smooth tile or sealed concrete. Inside the shoe if your feet are wet they slide around. Teva, Bite, or any of the other open style shoes with non slip bottoms ( inside and out) are much better. For my own use in a kayak I wear Teva watershoes, very non slip and quite tough. Besides they are one of the few firms that offer a true size 15. If my feet were any bigger I could leave the Wavewalk at home and stroll to the fish.

I am in the same boat, so to speak! I have size 13 feet but 4E wide and can't find anything in a water shoe that fits good!
