Just up on Drudge:

Appears that fishermen are an endangered species.
Hope the link works.

It is no secret that the libs are controlled by a group of special interests that regularly places the well being of animals in a position of greater importance and value than that of humans. What is really boggling my mind is the lack of coverage in the main stream media, of course they are in lock step with the Democrat party as usual. They won't stop until we are all disarmed, separated and at the mercy of big government.
I foresee a time when the US as we know it now will cease to exist, and that could be a good thing. With the constant fracturing of our society by this group and that, it might make sense to break up the union into a series of loosely aligned confederations and let the various groups control their own little area.
I thought at one time that the only way to escape would be to run to Canada, but they are a messed up as we are.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.
Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage.

I think we are between apathy and dependence.

Sure John, there are some inconsistencies with the accuracy and the source of the quote, but the sentiment and the idea are true...

The United States is the only modern world power not mentioned in the book of Revalation. :salute: i agree with your statment... fg, I think you'll be moving to the republic of Texas if the above predictions come true. My vehicle will be packed and headed in the same direction also.
