Had a disappointing day at Guana River yesterday (one trout LOL), but managed to find some fish off of Heckscher today. JYJ, Pete@JAX, and I got into some nice black drum. A couple with their kids in tandems were catching fish, too. Lots of folks on the water today. It got pretty crowded at times. The crowd moved in and the fishing shut down. But, soon after the crowd left we started catching fish again. That scenario repeated itself several times.

I caught well over a dozen black drum, several slots with one at 24", and one flounder at 15.5".

Good to see you guys got into some nice fish. Looks like the flatties are staring to show uo again too. Stinks too see so many people showing up at your fishing hole but with such a gorgeous day can't blame 'em to much!
