Just curious if anyone has tried out this restaurant. It's located in Jax Beach, across from Adventures Landing, on the Intracoastal. Have seen ads in the paper and was thinking about going there. Their ad also says that they rent kayaks.

abby,
Yes, I have been to Crazy Fish several times for both food and Kayak...(I have been going there regularly since they first opened last Summer). It all started because I wanted to buy a new Kayak but, had never been in one. I thought it would be best to "test-drive" them BEFORE buying...(brrrrilliant!) I visited several places around town to "feel" the difference between each models/styles. I went to Strike-Zone, Kayak Amelia,ALL-WET, Crazy-Fish, and Black Creek Outfitters.
Anyways, BEFORE the cold weather started, I used to visit Crazy Fish almost every weekend to relax/eat on their back deck. I like to watch the Boats go in/out at the Marina and fisherman when they launch/return at the Boat Ramp. Crazy-Fish has decent food, a liquor bar and they offer a few different types of Kayaks (single or TWO person tandem).
...Hope I gave you the information you were lookin for.

Thanks for the input Yak4U2NV. I was hoping for a response since we plan on going there tomorrow. Gotta take advantage of the nice forecast....just hope it's warm enough to eat outside.

So Abby,

How was your visit to Crazy-Fish?
(I went in there today, and it made me remember your previous reply)

My wife, my son and I went there this afternoon. They had a crazy fish sandwich which was good. I had a lobster which was ok, but there was confusion about the price. We ordered Diet Cokes and they brought a can. That's ok, but they charge $2.50 for what they paid probably a quarter for. And you don't get any refills for that $2.50; not good. I think they need to do some work on their menu to make it more clear. Not the best experience, but I won't rule them out forever.

And to think you could have gone to Angie's across the street for some of the best sandwiches at the beach ;)
