Had a good performance sunday in a creek near 206, followed by a skunk monday near 312 bridge, followed by a 13.5 hour shift on tuesday. So i figured today i should head back south and see whats biting. Armed with some live shrimp and headed into a steady 20mph wind forecast i headed back to the spot my buddy and i caught some nice reds sunday and from 8:30 to 1:30 moved from place to place with barely a bite. The wind was as predicted or worse, and it was not enjoyable for the tempurature or the paddling conditions. Then at outgoing just before low tide, just what i was waiting the previous 5 hours for i headed to the same spot that produced sunday and the bite was red hot. Immediately caught a 26" red to start it off, followed by a 17" flounder, 3 more reds in the 16-19" range, and 2 more flatties (kept one at 14"). Had to start using one pole because I kept losing fish to double hookups, no solution to that I can think of.
so 6 hours on the water and 30-45 minutes of action that was more than worth the wait. Glad i stuck it out till low tide instead of leaving to get some lunch.
Nice sizeable red and flatties.

Yeah, that is a tough problem to have when you got to put away one rod cause of the double hookups.

Wish I had that problem more often.
On a side note, Love the decorations back above your head at your house.

Way to catch em.
I know, first time I have had that problem on the yak, cant say I mind though there were plenty more around. But when you know you got a big red that you cant get an inch from, then when you try you see your hook fly by your face, its frustrating
And yes, I know we are very far behind on the decorations. Our cristmas tree is still in the front yard waiting for me to take it somewhere.
