Over 300 anglers have registered for the 2010 JKF Classic as of today, and of those registered over 170 have purchased VIP entries! VIP entires will be limited to the first 200 paid so get yours in! Also make your payment by March 15 to avoid $15 late fee.

The Columbia Sportwear company, one of the world's leading outdoor apparel manufacturers, is once again the title sponsor for the 2010 Jacksonville Kayak Fishing Classic for the benefit of the Downs Syndrome Association of Jacksonville and DanielKids. Columbia Sportswear is making a significant cash and product donation to the Classic and will highlight it's latest technology Blood and Guts fishing apparel which is designed to be cool, sun resistant, and to release tough stains easily - a perfect fit for kayak fishing! Like all proceeds from the Classic, donations generated by the Columbia Sportwear shirts and VIP entires go to the benefit charities of the Classic.

The regular $60 entry which includes the typical incredible captain's bag is available as always, but this year there is also a special VIP entry package. The VIP entry costs $110 and features a new Columbia Sportswear custom embroidered Superlight Blood and Guts longsleeve fishing shirt (retail value $70), a Norton Brass Rattler Floating Fish Grip, and a premium captain's bag. VIP entires will be limited to the first 200 so get your registration in early. In addition the first 150 regular entries also get a premium captain's bag, and all Lady Anglers will receive a free Pink Fish Grip.

The instore raffles at Black Creek Outfitters for a Native Watercraft Ultimate 12 Kayak and a Wilderness Systems Commander 120 Angler are moving quickly, so steop by and get your tickets before they are sold out.

Only 52 raffle tickets at $20 each are available for each boat, the raffles are open to the public, and the tickets can only be purchased at Black Creek Outfitters located on Gate Parkway in Jacksonville. The winning tickets will be drawn and the kayaks awarded at the Jacksonville Kayak Fishing Classic May 7-8. Entrants must be present at the drawing to win.
