Went out on a charter boat out of Port Canaveral with the family. Went out 32 miles to a wreck in 280 feet of water where the water was much warmer. Within a hour and a half we had limited out on Amberjacks. Biggest AJ was 38". Fish were hitting hard and putting up a good fight all day. After limting on AJ's we came in a little to a different wreck in 170 feet of water and did some more bottom fishing. Every drop we made we were hooking up with Red Snappers. We threw back some nice fish due to the snapper and grouper closures. No doubt that we could have limited out on those as well. Due to the closures and all we were hooking up with was snappers we moved on to do some trolling. Trolled a weed line for a while with no luck. Saw birds diving and several strikes on the surface on the weed line but nothing biting for us. After that we moved in to a spot in 80 feet of water and hooked up with some sea bass. All in all a great day of fishing.
