I have found out from this forum and others that if you even post a pic of you holding one of the big spawners the wrong way, you will get endless posts bashing you for mistreatment of the fish.

I haven't seen that kind of thing on the Jax forum. If the board you're posting on is giving you guff for holding a big fish the wrong way, tell em' to "go pound" and find a new board. Don't let that stop you from getting a nice photo of a trophy fish.

Hey Vinny,
Let me clarify.I did not say they were my posts getting bashed. I read many posts on other forums that I am a member of. And you are right, I have not seen it much on this forum.
Here is a Nice 31" Trout from last year around Sept. that I did not want to post because I laid her on the ground for a pic. I quickly released her after the pic.
I do not post pics of all the fish I catch and I don't take pictures of all of them either. As I said earlier, I recognize the importance of letting the big spawners go back to make babies.
After re-examining this photo, maybe I did not post it because I needed a pedicure on those toenails at the time! Geeezzz :puke:

This was a Trophy sized Trout for me anyway.

That trout is a Beast! Awesome, dude.

I believe the rubber mallet is Acme's new line of "Wile E Coyote Fillet Knives"

The mallet is for driving in my old pvc rod holders in the ground. It is much easier on the pvc than a metal driving implement. I have never gotten those fancy spiked rod holders. lol. This was a fishing from shore day.

Hey Afishy1: Regarding the tides on the River Side of Guana:

G4VPM/Andy who is now back in England gave me a "formula" he always used down there for the Tides: "Mayport PLUS 1 Hour" and I have it taped on my wall here above my PC!!
Since Sept. 22, 2006 it has not failed me in over 30 trips!!

So, just look up the Mayport Tides and add one hour to them!!

Thanks for the tip John. I will make a copy and do the same. :thumbright:
