for Plan B. After Church and lunch with the family and watching a couple hours of Nascar with My Father in law decided I couldn't stand it anymore. Had to get on the water for a couple of hours and chase some Red fish. As I walked out of the garage looked back at the freezer and decided what the heck that dead shrimp in there needs to go anyway. It's been frozen an refrozen five times now. Since the COLD lately the slow fishing I take it along just in case. Well worked artificials hard all evening and then right at the end I decided that I would try a small trout or two just to knock the pole cat off with a Rootbeer Gulp shrimp hooked on a jighead through the tail and BAM fish on. It pulled and ran and flipped around, I didn't now what I had, then there it was 22.5 Black Drum. Then the light bulb came on and out came that old frozen shrimp. Well the next 4 hours or so were the best action and fishing I've had in months. Had several double hook ups til I decided it was too hard to fight two at a time. Here are some of the highlights. Since the inlaws are here I decided to keep a limit for a change and man I had black drum under pedals in my basket and all over the place. LOL.

Chappy

The joy in your face says it all. Nice catches but man it looked cold. I brave that stuff for a week each year in Canada during June but here at home my body has little cold resistance. Concrats for braving it

Nice report! Yea, any day of fishing is better than nothing. Its stinks when you cant do what you really want to do is fish and I cant even get out to anywhere with all this snow I've got.
