Got away from the hospital early today so I decided to get some fishing in before tourney time. I hit the cove around 12:30 right at the 3.4ft high tide. The waves were white capping when i got out there but I went for it and it payed off. I dodged the straight north wind by fishing the south side of the cove and it was barely even choppy. I caught 3 trout and 1 rat red in the 1st hour. Right before i left i decided to go to one of my oyster bars away from the creeks and it was probably 6 to 7 foot under. Found out quick the big boys were there. 1st cast had a hit with the weedless jerk bait and missed so i let it sit and dragged it a few feet then jerked quick again. He came back and hit it on the second downfall and took it right so i didnt miss this time. He was 27.5" and 2 casts later I caught a 29". I decided to save some fish for later and got out of there satisfied. P.S. im selling this orange prowler 13 so if anyone knows someone who wants to buy it just let me know. Ill be back in town for the cougar tourney

Very nice fish you caught there.

looks like they might need to see a dermatologist though. Nasty looking lesions on 'em.
