Hey starvinmarvin,
When you get over here, be careful where you jump in...

I'd have to agree on the Yozuri Crystal minnow or the 3D's followed closely by the Mirrodine Series!

Here's my favorite go-to rig, except I usually leave the tail on it...

Eggy, I brought a pack of the Sidewinders over on my last trip, but they were the red tails, when I removed them from the pack they were no tails, don't think they enjoyed the flight, I'll be packing some of the Pearl ones though!

Hey Eggie....That Thunderdog topwater should work fine on morning and evening fishing for seatrout and redfish....looks like a winner!!

The plastic tail might fool some fish too, but I wondered if that weighted head and front of the body will be too heavy...????.....what is the weight of it??? Remember, you will be mainly fishing in water between 1-6' deep....deep running lures and heavy spoons and jigs will just get you snagged all day!! :angryfire:

Beside, we need you to bring all that good British $$$ over here and improve our sagging USA economy!! LOL!!!
JohnYaksJax
PS: Good Tip: Check out the "Fishing Reports" forum pictures often and see what lures are hanging on the rod tips or from the mouths of the fish in the pix. Especially good info in March and April when we get better weather and closer to the Kayak Classic!!

Have already had a sneaky look at last years reports leading up to the classic, lots of photoshop work going on there :D its funny but the only people over here that are so careful with their marks are the Saltwater fly fishermen (me included) who rarely show a shot of fish with any features in view, just open sea or the yak... I rarely show a shot with any features, because I rarely catch any fish :D

Good "discovery" Marvin!! The closer you get to Kayak Classic Weekend, the LESS YOU WILL HEAR about sweet spots and fish caught and how they were caught!! LOL!!!
