Hi, my name is scott and I am from central florida, I fish with the HCKA club. I am interested in coming up for the classic and was wondering if you could give me some areas that I could camp and be close to places to fish for the tournament. If I decide to come up for the tournament I may come around april to get use to the area.

Here is a recent post with comments from several of us about places near JAX to camp. The requestor was looking for tent camping, so if you are looking for an RV or pop-up to camp in, there many be other choices, altho Little Talbot Island is full service for them also...

When I go up to Jax, I've been camping at Little Talbot Island State Park (LTISP). The park has nice facilities, showers and a laundry room (washer/dryer). The park is located on the northeast side of the St. Johns, giving you access to all the northside fishing locations. You can also launch directly from the camping area when the tides are right. Make your reservations early. Here's a link below.
