I've got to put in a plug for this tournament. If there are any guys/gals out there that think they might want to go to a tournament out there but are a little worried about not fitting in, or don't know anyone, just not the outgoing type and don't want to go there and not be able to find a place to fish. Well let me make you feel at ease. This tournament is the one for you. This tournament is the one that lit the fire in me to begin tournament fishing. Jeff runs it like a well oiled social gathering that enormously helps a local worth while charity. (Wakula Senior Services providing transportation needs and meals) It is held in a Quaint Little town on the South West Coast of Florida (Crawfordville) by some of the nicest people in the world. Everyone is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The Fishing is bar none the best in Florida. You can catch two of the local species in the tournament at any spot listed on the spots map on the tournament site. I won't lie I don't think there are any flounder there but the locals say there are!! This tournament is truly a breath of fresh air for socializing, learning about different fishing techniques and a low stress Very, VEry fun fishing experience in a place where you might not ever even see a boat the whole time you fish. And everyone that goes can borrow my motto for the tournament and prabably live up to it because by the time tournament day comes he's ussually too tired to fish. So go and sign up and borrow my motto "Just Beat Suber". Hope to see all of you there. If you have any real deal fishing questions about the area (what tackle to bring) or tournament feel free to PM me and I'll do my best. I fish over there one or two times a year!!!

John "Chappy" Chapman

Truly a dress rehearsal for the Jacksonville Yayak Fishing Classic!!!

You must be staying a Subers house :D Yeap, this is a fun tourney with lots of great folks. This is my third year fishing it... wait a min did I say fishing... The first year we didn't get on the water until 10:00 AM due to the prior evening activities and the second year we got blown off the water due to a storm. Wonder what will happen on this trip :?: Maybe I can beat Suber and UTC :D
