Early registration for the Georgia Kayak Fishing Tournament Trail and Festivals is now open at http://www.kayakfishingtrail.com. Georgia Power, Columbia Sportswear, CaptDick Enterprises, Johnson Outdoors(Ocean Kayak, Humminbird, etc.), Georgia FFA-FCCLA , Hobie Fishing, Georgia Wildlife Federation, GA DNR, Boats with Gusto, The city of Savannah, The Outside World, Nuts and Bolts Fishing and Kayak Angler are all partnering up with Georgia Kayak Fishing to put on this inaugural event.

All of the details including the prizes/beneficiaries can be found at www.kayakfishingtrail.com.

Proceeds from the festivals will be donated to three worthy charities each committed to continuing and protecting Georgia’s rich outdoor heritage:

The Future Farmers of America (FFA)
The Georgia Wildlife Federation
The Georgia Kayak Fishing Foundation

Hey Ivarie....Thanks for posting the Tourney Trail in here!!

Really a nice series of tourneys that highlight the different types and species of fish that Georgia has to offer:
Northeast....Large lake with species like walleye and pickeral and trophy trout
Southeast...Tidal marshlands for some saltwater slime!!
East and West...large impoundment (lake/reservoir) for spotted and striped bass and catfish

I hope to fish in several...maybe all....of them....Thanks!!

Looks like lots and time and effort went into setting all this up. Hopefully it will all come off as intended and help both the charity groups and the the future of our sport. Nice job.
