Fly Fishing from your Kayak 4pm to 7pm
Black Creek Outfitters invites you to come out to an on and off water clinic with Captain Rich Santos a FFF Certified Casting Instructor and our own Dick Choate. During this time we will have 2 separate clinics of about an hour. Even if you have never fished or kayaked, or maybe you just want to talk about different techniques and equipment, Black Creek invites you to stop by and join the discussion.

I enjoyed the clinic I am new to flyfishing and Rich Santos taught me a lot about the sport.Learned about different weight rods, lines and casting from standing up and if you were in a kayak.Dick Choate gave me some more insight into different types of kayaks .Big kudos to Black Creek and the instructors. :-B

re: Native Kayaks Fishing Clinic

This was a good clinic. A decent size crowd showed up on a rainy weekday afternoon. The clinic was held indoors. Saw a few familiar faces. Captain Roger Bump generously gave up some of his tips on equipment, lures, baits, techniques, fishing spots, etc... He even let us keep some of the lures that he used in his presentation. BCO handed out some discount coupons, too. I used my coupon and got a substantial discount on a pair of "Salomon Techamphibian 2" shoes

Nice job Roger and BCO. Looking forward to the next clinic.

This was a very good clinic with a lot of good info handed down by Captain Roger Bump. It sounds like there will be more in the future and they can certainly shorten the learning curve fishing from the yak.
