Are you the BIG guy I met at 3:00 on Saturday. If so you might want to get a bigger yak. Thats a small yak for that big guy I met leaving Mill Cove.

No that wasn't me but I am 5'9 and about 250. She does take on a little water through the middle scupper hole. I'll probably plug that permanently.I am looking for a Big Game Prowler though if you know of one. I'll probably give the Caster to my 19 year old daughter. She has expressed interest in going with me.

I'm the same size as you and had the same yak. It is now the backup to my backup. I don't know why but that's a tough one to paddle. I kow what you mean about the middle scupper hole. But it it is nice on a hot day when you can give it a bounce and get that fountain right between your legs.

It's a pretty easy install, I've done 2 casters I think. West Marine sometimes carries a Yakima rudder that works well on them. I have also used this one from Kayakfishingstuff.com.

The Caster doesn't require the use of a bracket though.
