A great day fishing in pellicer creek. Got there about 11 and talked to a boater leaving saying he did not get a bite. Being my first time there I was a little discouraged but things got a lot better in about 30 minutes. Over 20 red fish in 1 area and 1 flounder on the way back. A beautiful place and great fishing. I will be back!!

I launched at the park and went left. After 3 turns, I found some shell almost in the middle of the creek and they were loaded with fish. I fished with a 1/8 ounce jig head and a white and watermelon red flake, fishbites. You had to fish slow. I was trying out a new weedless jig head and I never lost one today fished on 10lb. floro-carbon line.
