Went to highbridge tonight to see what was biting. Meet Tomz on the water on my way out. Got to my spot two guys in a boat parked there with lines everywhere had to cast between all the crab traps. The guys in the boat were catching rat reds with live shrimp. The bite turned on for me about 6:15 for 20 min hooked up on three nice trout all about 18" on a blue and white mirrodine then the bite just went dead. Got cold so I left.

Nice meeting you. You had better luck than I did. I spooked a bunch of reds back in the flats, but got skunked. I marked the spots on my GPS and now I'm checking satellite maps. Google Earth shows latitude and longitude, but the images for the Highbridge area aren't that good. Microsoft Live Search lets you enter longitude and latitude. The images are good, but small. Microsoft terraserver has the best pictures, but no latitude and longitude. I was out for about 5 hours this afternoon and only covered about 1/4 of the flats back there. It was little too windy to see signs of fish. I only saw them after I ran them over.

Wow Jeff I admire you for the cold weather outting. For some reason it always seems colder here on the water then even Canada in early summer.
