Headed out to Sisters Creek today for a little afternoon fishing with a friend of mine. Arrived at the ramp 1 pm, top of the tide. Headed west in the deep creeks looking for dinner... I mean trout.
Unfortunately, the bite was pretty slow. In about 3 - 4 hours of fishing we only landed three trout, 1 keeper at 15 inch. I usually fish Sisters creek and have few spots for Reds. This is my first winter here and I'm learning that my 'spot' has quickly become lonesome. Red fish appear gone and now the search is on for another 'spot'.
All in all, it was a beautiful day to be on the water, even though the fog never really lifted. I'll take it over a day at the office any time.
