I took a visit to Snake creek to test out the FF/GPS I got for christmas. So I did a lot of playing with the new toy (marking oyster beds... :D ). It was a nice day on the water and a LOT of stinkpots too....
I picked up 8 of these little guys between 13-14"

Got 3 of these rats trolling mudminnows on a 1/8oz Slayer jighead. The black with sparkles........ I like that and the gold flaked Jigheads, those things have BLING

I went back into a creek looking for holes and darn near screwed-up, I think I may have had 10 min and that place woulda been high and dry.
But on the way back there I got this guy with a mud on the Slayer.

At least with the GPS you would have been able to call for help if you got stranded  Have been seeing lots of stinkpots on Snake Creek

Jerry you are right and dreads yes that mostlikely was us, were the two ladies paddling two yellow yaks from KA? we had 8 slots 22in to 26in and then left them biting, we kept our 2 then caught a nice fat 25in that was gut hooked and pretty much on his last breath so we gave one of the other to a guy that was fishing and kept the gut hooked one cause i dont think he would have made it, i will be out there again tomorrow mid morning for some more action.

Dreads way to catch fish. As usual you got the mojo. What do you think of using the fish finder to mark oyster beds?

Keep rolling out those pictures too! Seems like the dinner bell for the fish are getting earlier each day!
Saturday they were hitting the bait real good between 3-5 PM.
