Me, Kayne "kayneyaker" and my wife went out early this morning to try a new spot which was jointer creek. Me and Kimberly caught about 7 trout a piece and Kayne none. No reds there so we headed over to Jekyll island pier for the out going tide, nothing for about 3 hrs then bam Kimberly caught 2 trout and Kayne finally got one. Then we moved to another spot my second cast was a 25" red and 2 more casts was about the same size as my personal best 33 1/2, then Kayne and Kimberly caught a few more trout and we called it a day. It was very different from when me and bznet went out on Sunday we fished the same spot and same time of tide the reds just weren't there in numbers just a couple of monsters. Kayne and my wife used live shrimp under a popping cork and I used my favorite gold DOA with no popping cork. Overall about 20 trout and 2 big reds.

Got to love those 7ft medium light rods. That 6th pic was of the 25" fish. The big one actually took me about 10-15min to reel him in.

Yeppers....I love them also, and also on my OLD 1979 Eagle Claw fiberglass rod..."Old Yeller"......just more fun to fight them and win!!

PS: In the summer and HOT 95 degree creeks, I would rather whip them more quickly for a better survival rate for them....

We should have another report for friday me and kayne are going to our honey hole. Watch out for those damn boaters in the fog they drive those things like its the last lap of the daytona 500 even in the fog.
