First I would like to say thank you again to Scott and JC as well as Glen for all the hard work they put into making this a great trip. Rebecca and I both had a great time!!! Once again, our bad for bringing the caretaker in with us and putting a damper on the party. We promise to be there early next time!

The fishing was a little slow on Saturday I only had one short trout to show for my efforts but the food and company MORE than made up for it. Everything on the table was delicious and I ate until I was stuffed!

The fishing on Sun. was a little better, I picked up 2 Rat Reds and one barely legal Red that was released. The legal one was luck after that blackened Redfish that JC made, the next one may not be so lucky! :D One of the Reds was actually caught on a bare jighead. The other two were caught on artificials, 3" Gulp shrimp and 3" Big Hammer both in New Penny. All three fish came out of the same are, which Dreads recommended. Thanks Dreads! Fishing that spot taught me a lot about oyster beds which I will start using on my next trip!

Rebecca unfortunately was skunked both days, but had a good time just paddling around and enjoying the amazing weather!

We really had a blast meeting people, hanging out and learning how to play Zilch! Rob, but I think a washers rematch is in order, Dreads and I will need to start training for the spring trip!

Rebecca was even commenting on the way back that it is not very often when you get to meet a group as large as this and everyone was just very cool and friendly! We can't say thanks enough for the food, fun hospitality and comraderie! We will mark our calendars as soo n as we see the dates for the next PPP get together.

BF, I had a great time as well. I got to meet quite a f ew of you on Friday, the only day I could go fishing.

Thanks Ryan or Jason ( I can't remember which) for helping me get my yak on and off the Jeep, since I had a bum finger on my left hand. Paddling wasn't the easiest beacuse I could not grip with my hand fully but I manged to finally get some slime (& snot) on my yak. 4 rat reds, 1 mangrove snapper, 1 flounder, and 2 cats...yuk! Only the flounder was legal, but I made some friends.

Thanks to Railroader and his Gulp tips, they helped me to have a decent day on the water.

Nice to meet JYJ and a few others!

Oh and Papas Pilar gets my vote for chef of the year! You would have to look far and wide to find anyone who ate better than we did saturday night.

yea me too, reserve me a spot for next year, and I will bring an extra pair of shoes this time!!

sorry no pics, but Sunday morning I caught two slot reds 24 " and 20"
Joe/GA got a pic of the bigger one, but no one was around for the other which had 46 spots!

Easily overshadows the trash slam from Saturday.

Can't wait till the next event!

Had a great time - enjoyed meeting everyone! Sorry I had to leave Saturday, I'll plan better next year.

Looks like everyone had a a good time catching some nice fish. I had a good day fishing Friday with 12 -15 trout and a snook that totally surprised me. Saturday I couldn't catch a legal fish at all. Sorry about the pics but I had something on the lens.

You folks must have had a blast. I toured the Florida Sportmans Show on Saturday then fished Sunday at my regular 206 spots. Did really really well in the W on Sunday.
