 Post subject: NEW TO THE KAYAK !!!! HELP

I just got my first boat over the summer (PROWLER 13) and finally got it rigged up with all the toys. I'm going on vacation the 14 th. where should I go ? and at what times.[/b]

That's one question I would never ask my wife as I am sure I wouldn't like the answer :D

Because you posted this in the Fishing Section would assume that you are wanting to go fishing. One of the best resources is to click on the Fishing Spots link above. It will show you great spots to fish and information about them.

Hey REDFISHR....Welcome to JKF and thanks for posting this!!

Like IS2K1 said above, I would check out and read many of the FISHING REPORTS and see where people are catching fish right now....most of us tell "General" locations and NOT GPS #....LOL!!

Then, look up those places in the FISHING SPOTS above for directions and info....Good Luck!!

PS2: Saw you posted about using a flyrod...will that be your "weapon" in the new kayak??

THANKS !!! For the advise . I live on the westside, over off I-10 . My weapon of choice is an ORVIS TRIDENT 8 wt with an int. ghost tip. So if any one notices a redneck,in a sand colored PROWLER 13 next week. I'll be north around simpsons creek don't laugh at him,just help me out
