I've been told by a guide in the keys that Bar Jacks are good eating as opposed to Crevalle. Anyone know if this is true and if so any special recipe?

I don't know, but I did see a Flip Pallot episode recently where he kept every one of the Bar Jacks he caught. He was raving about them.

Yes they are very good to eat. Filley them take the skin off, merinade them in Lemon, salt and garlick.

Let them sit in the fridge for about 2 hours.

Bread them using cracker crums, or italian crums.

Deep fry them.

They are very good.

Just make some Black beans and rice, to go with the fish and your in heaven.
