Also check your local recycling centers. They tend to put to the side large aluminum tubing pieces.

Agree 100%, even had those shells puncture my Hobie wheels.SaltyPaddler wrote:#2 - not very fun launching (coming or going) at low tide. Really muddy and slippery with exposed shells that can cut you up easily and do the same to the bottom of your kayak.

I've camped Goat Island before, its the western most island in the Saint Johns before it takes the south turn near the Navy fuel depot.

Fishing after big storms has always been good to me. Yesterday only continued to show that this is true. Even though I only brought home 1 trout Steve and Dan were putting on a show reeling in the Reds on live and cut mullet.
