Ya that was a surprise, I wasn't even near a pier or rock and thought at first they might be some black drums but this one looked like the right size and it wasn't until I got it on shore to string it that I realized it was a sheep.

Went out last night at low tide and right at dark and was able to get a few flounder gigging while walking. I was amazed to see sheephead swimming along the beach. Most were to small to stick but this one was not and his buddies were to fast. All in all I think I missed 5 or 6 more flounder, 3 sheep...

I ended up getting a gheenoe and love the little boat. It is big enough for me to take my wife and daughter out on. I would lol at a used gheenoe.

I did the same thing and have had it for about a year but little by little my eight ear ok has started to make pets. Now she has a blue crab that has molted its skin twice, five or so hermit crabs, sea snakes, mud minnows and small shrimp. Now I need another bait tank.
