Re: I am in trouble
Ring King, I am glad you posted this because after a few other posts I am questioning my decision to get a PA and not something else. I do have a few places that get pretty shallow but I guess not the majority. Heck I've been fishing from a Ranger bay for 3 years so I guess I am still shallower tha...

Re: I am in trouble
Fishingfanatic and Titanfish.....looking forward to seeing you at BCO to "test drive" the Hobie Pro Anglers....we have both the 12 and 14 demo models, so you can try both if you want...... Please pop me a PM if you want/need any more info on them, but it sounds like both of you are doing the resear...

Re: I am in trouble
I agree with Ring King. I sold the bass boat below last year and purchased my first Pro Angler. No gas usage, high maintenance, etc. Fished more in the past year in a Pro Angler than the previous 5 years combined before I bought the 2012 Pro Angler. I'm primarily a freshwater fisherman and this meth...

Re: Hobie Purchase : Online or Local Dealer
List price was the same, $1,999.00, but no sales tax and 15% discount. Most of the time the 15% discount is on Hobie accessories from most dealers with the purchase of a Hobie kayak. Not the kayak itself. I would assume you would still have a few hundred dollar shipping cost from Austin, TX to Sara...

Re: Hobie Purchase : Online or Local Dealer
Publicly ACK can't quote a price for a Hobie lower than the Hobie MSRP price. At least that's my understanding as it keeps all the dealers on a level playing field. Once you physically visit the dealer, that can be a different story because you're at the local dealer and not inquiring by long distan...

I have a very nice Revo 11 listed in the classified section if you decide the 11 is better for you over the 13.PIRATES wrote:I am 5'10, 195. Revo 13 to much boat?

Re: SeaDek for hobie pa 14
That looks awesome --- I'd love to get that same design is possible, great work..... The graphics work costs me as much as just having the SeaDek in 2-tone cut based on my templates. I can't speak for the Hobie "H", but might consider allowing SeaDek to use my rod/reel and text logo. Let's wait and...

Re: SeaDek for hobie pa 14
Fantastic job Steve!!! I can't wait to see this come together and will be ordering mine as soon as they are ready for production!!! Can we order it in any color that we want? how about the layering of two colors with the contoured edges? This is something that Hobie should have offered right from t...

Re: SeaDek for hobie pa 14
Hey Steve aka SRAces......Thanks for posting since you had shared this with me a few days ago and I was "biting my tongue" trying not to mention it....and.....I hope they give you credit and $$ for the work that you have done!!! My next "guess" is that Hobie will purchase the product from SeaDek an...

Re: SeaDek for hobie pa 14
All, I just submitted the template packages to SeaDek of templates to work on the 2011-2012 PA14 and the 2013-2014 PA14. I am having them do custom decking for both my 2012 PA14 and 2013 PA14. So SeaDek will have the layout of these years to use for making a template kit to offer folks. I did explai...

Re: Hobie Mirage
i have to go by BlackCreek Outfitters and try one of the Hobie Mirage Drive kayaks. the ability to fish on the move must be awesome. I am searching for my new dream yak and something with pedal/drive may be in the works... If you're headed to Blackcreek Outfitters, see John Stewart (aka johnYaksJax...

Re: Hobie Mirage
I have a Pro Angler and Revolution 11 with the Mirage drive and have fished in creeks where I had to get out and walk to deeper water. Friends with regular paddle kayaks had to do the same. While I'm fairly new to Kayak fishing, I have descenrned the following from personal experiences so far and th...

Re: Been creeping, finally decided to introduce
Great picture! Yes...that cooler you have does appear to take up some space. I use an old smaller Coleman cooler I've had since the 80s to put ice in for keeping my drinks and anythng else I want cold while I'm out. I keep a small soft sided cooler in my milk crate for snacks and food. Maybe you can...
