My brother is coming into town from Ohio and wants me to take him fishing. I love this idea but i have only 1 kayak. Is there a good place to fish in the South Jax/North ST Augustine area that rents kayaks for a decent price?

My apologies, I must have read that website multiple times and everytime till late this.evening I came up with "only residents can.fish from shore". Tonight, after my wife pointed out that if you have a liscense, you can fish anywhere. I feel foolish.

I did pay it and have a "non-resident" salty fishing liscense and I can fish from my yak anytime i want.

But according to the FWC, only Residents can fish from the shoreline and therefore i cannot take either of my kids fishing from the shoreline and that is my issue.

If you have to drill a hole in the ice to fish....that's cold.

From what i understand....We can leave the drills at home.

Can someone please explain to me why a 6 month resident requirement is necessary? I moved here for work.
