I find the lady's with a top water lure and use them as cut bait. I throw a chunk on a hook and throw it out and wait. I usually catch a nice red.

Glad to hear someone was catching Reds today. I struck out with topwater and shrimp. Congrats!

I use mon for my leader as well. You never know when that red is going to make a run near some oyster beds.

Go to walmart, dicks or acadamy and pick up what ever Gold spoon with little feathers on it thats on sale. I picked up a couple for less than 2$ and have had very good luck with them.
