Welcome back! I remember the day when they would let you fish in the basin from the docks. I once caught a 36" blue fish. Talk about exciting! The fight was amazing and trying to pull him up a 30 foot wall without a net was nail biting!

Scout, I'd love to say he had a way with words but I'd just be lying! :lol: :lol: :lol: My hubby and I practically grew up together and most of our "dates" were spent fishing so you could say it's been a life long sport for both of us. He's definitely more into it than I am but I still enjoy it. Fun...

Although he wasn't supposed to get his stitches wet, my hubby couldn't resist getting his new yak wet. I guess it all worked out in the end when he reeled up this 24" trout.

So, the hubby got a new yak and therefore I inherited the old yak. Took my maiden voyage today, along with my hubby, son, and daughter and although it was windy as heck and I didn't get so much as a nibble, I had a great time and will probably be back out there tomorrow. Wish me luck! Here I am lead...

Both my guys (husband and son) caught 24" fish within the first hour. Unfortunately, each only had two spots. Bumped off the board in the end.
