Re: seat suggestion
I had a couple fold down seats that I put on my jon boat before I sold it. They had a clamp that went in front and behind the bench. They were sturdy. And stayed put. The clamp at the bottom was made out of like 1/4" bent rod. Look around you will find them. I will see if I can find an old pic. Good...

Re: My First Kayak
I only got to take it out a couple times behind the house. It is a creek full of trout. Very cold water. I thought that I was ready to go last week when it was 70 degrees. But then we got 13 inches of snow lol. I guess that I will have to wait a little while. I had some kind of flu for three months ...

Re: Changing Ultimate 12 Anchor Trolly Components
Thanks guys. I took the Ultimate out yesterday in the creek in my back yard just to try out the trolly. It works out pretty good. it is easy to use with no hang ups. The 3 pound anchor held tight and I love the stake out pole. I could move the boat in any direction and it worked flawlessly. So yes. ...

Re: Changing Ultimate 12 Anchor Trolly Components
I got it brand new at a Native certified dealer. There are ne pulleys anywhere. just a padeye at each end and one on each side to keep the line tight against the yak. Here is a picture of it. Well the picture thing did not work out too well.

Changing Ultimate 12 Anchor Trolly Components
My new Ultimate 12 has an anchor trolly that does not have pulleys. it only has padeyes. Has anybody out there changed the components and added pullys? Looks like it will work ok. I have not used it much so far. I am just getting used to the thing. I am sure that the cord will burn through the nylon...

Ultimate 12 Paddel Stay
Alright I have gazed at my new 2016 Ultimate 12 long enough. Time to get it rigged for fishing. The first thing that I want to do is attach the Scotty Paddle Taco Stay. I want to put it on the rear of the front track system. I am thinking that I want to mount one on each side. One for the paddle and...

Re: My First Kayak
I went and picked up the kayak today. Very nice. I love this thing. It came with anchor trollies on both sides and a track on the forward half that the Scotty Gearhead Track mounts fit into securely. The seat is very comfortable. Looks like the only holes that I will have to drill into the boat is f...

It will be ready for pick up tomorrow. Finally. And of course I will not be able to pick it up until Friday. At least I know that it is in this state lol. Pics to come on Friday. Hopefully I have not forgotten how to post pictures to a forum. It has been awhile since my jig posting days.

Re: My First Kayak
I am still waiting on the thing. The guy told me this week for sure. I am right in the middle of the state. I have the Juniata and Susquehanna rivers about 5 miles away. Flatheads and small mouth and muskys are my target fish. Along with my favorites crappies. We have a lake called Howard where I ca...

Re: My First Kayak
Well 2 more days until the Ultimate 12 gets here. I hope. The dealers here in Pa. are few and far between. I sure do have a lot of stuff sitting here waiting to go on it. I can not wait.
