I use slip rigs all the time for trout/reds in spots that i normally get hung up on, over rocks.like under bridges and stuff.like if its 8ft deep u can put a live shrimp 7ft down and let it float right over the structure it works very well.use the same thing for crappie too

Idk what it is with the gulp swimming mullet but it seems like all i catch on them is flounder haha its awesome.sweet flounder bro

Grab some mud minnows as well as dead shrimp, flounder have been goin pretty good right now on muds and finger mullet.but if u have lil pieces of shrimp youll definately catch plenty of lil fish for the kiddo.

Caught one way back in alligator alley in ddot ranch freelining a mullet.have caught bass bream snook reds and trout in the same spot too, pretty cool place.super fun fish to catch if you can get them hooked up

All my small reels have 20lb powerpro superslick.been using it since it came out and never had a fish break it off.reeled in a 6+ ft bullshark offshore last year no problem.took like 45 minutes but we got it on the boat haha
