Re: St. Augustine Kayak Fishing
Retired and fish out of St Augustine a few days a week, typically wed-Friday. Weekends I take the wife paddle boarding. I live near hospital creek and will throw in there for a quick trip. Caught a few small flounder and toad fish last Friday ??, I was fishing the low and went under the bridge to hi...

Re: Quick and Easy Shade
I have been using the xl version for a bit now. Really nice shade on hot days and the adjustability is good (if the plastic doesn’t break) as you can tilt it like a shield to block sun, not just sit under it. In wind and rain, a good golf umbrella is probably better. A bit fussy in the adjustments a...

Re: Guana River - SML Drawdown
The dam is blocked off already and they are working on the repairs. Lot of yaks fishing both sides of the damn today. I was just there to walk the dog and avoid snakes

Re: Launch at St. Augustine airport?
It was on the south side of the airport by the flight school? The project was never followed through with. It would not have been low tide accessible.

Re: "Kayak Doctor" Clark??
I live in Middleburg and Clark has come to my house twice to work on my PAs. Outstanding guy, I wouldn't let anyone else work on my Hobies. I bought both my Hobies from BCO and Clark was the only good thing that came out of that experience. Their loss. He was very helpful. The majority of the other...

Re: Fishing docks from a yak?
If your casting chi is week, use a cork with appropriate length leader and float it in with the current. Don't forget about how you are going to hold yourself in place with current, anchor, stakeout pole for shallow, or reverse pedal drive. A good sized red will definitely help you meet the undersid...
