The gate is not usually locked, just pulled closed. ;)

This may have changed since the last time I was out there...but if not, just sayin' it wouldn't be the first time the launch got opened a lil early.

3.) no bungee, strap, etc. to secure fish to measuring. ???

Most tournament approved bump boards have bungees for this exact purpose....never heard of that one, and not sure how you would accomplish that with out being able to secure them.

You can go right across A1A from The Reef on Euclid Ave and put it at the ramp there. From there, either north or south has some nice creek/marsh areas to fish close by on the east side of the ICW. Also, across the ICW you will find plenty of the same fishy areas, there is just the battle of playing...
