Re: Guana 9/12
Caught a single spotless rat red fishing from 0630 to 1100. Fished live shrimp under a cork, later dead shrimp under a cork. A little Top Dog early, later a suspended mirrorlure, then some plastics. Quiet day. The rat read hit a live shrimp.

Re: WS Thresher 155
I've put 7' and 7 1/2" rods inside no problem. It's pretty roomy. It doesn't have the foam rack inside like the A.T.A.K, but lots of room for other stuff too.

Re: New launching spot
One thing I really enjoy is launch areas that are sandy vs muddy. A bit of sand, brought in or naturally occurring, is really nice. A rinse station like they have at some of the bike trails would also be nice.

Re: Introduction and Some Questions
JohnnyG Watch the current episode of "How to do Florida". I think it is on Fox Sports 1 or Sun Sports channel. They take off on some SUPs and fish for a while, looked great, had me very interested for a while. Then the wind picked up.......had to be towed in. The SUPs appear to be very hard to handl...

Re: Introduction and Some Questions
herbyk-9 & putt&paddle Thanks for the info. Skinny water/inshore fishing is what I do 95%+ of the time, so this is important to me. Appreciate the input and will pay close attention to the points you brought up as I demo. I like the idea of peddling, but it's not a necessity. Catching fish and a rel...

Re: Introduction and Some Questions
Some kayaks are defiantly quieter than others and it makes a huge difference when your stalking fish in shallow water. Putt&paddle This subject is of great interest to me. It's hard to find info about it and a kayak demo is very limited in what it can tell you about certain hulls in real world cond...

Re: WS Thresher 155
I have owned the Thresher 155 for just under a month now and really enjoy it. It's a bit heavier than I imagined, but being my first kayak I didn't know what to expect. The layout is great. It's fish finder ready. It's very stable and I can stand up in it, but not really do anything but stretch my l...
