Had a similar experience in Browns 2 weeks Ago....eventually picked up a couple by switching to the chartreuse gulp swimming mullet on a pink sure set 1/8 jig head.

I've never had luck with the vudu shrimp series but a buddy of mine always tears up reds at Browns with em under a Cajun thunder

After seeing some incredible YouTube videos, I picked up a vudu mullet to try this weekend.

Was curious if anyone on the forum has had any luck with these or is the magic lure too good to be true.

Looks like I'll be eating some fresh Lake Erie perch this weekend

I went out on Lake Erie last Saturday and caught my limit of 30 yellow perch... Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to eat them before I have to return to Florida. I was looking at having my dad FedEx the perch back down to me in jax.

Has anyone ever done this?

Went out with Sarverj to fish Simpsons, we both pulled in some low slot reds, both about the same size of my pretty epic redfish selfie... I also managed to keep my flounder streak alive...which is now 7 1/2 weeks. All my fish were picked up on sure sets tipped with a mud Minnow...happy fishing! [UR...

The flounder fishing is awesome throughout Simpsons...I've caught Atleast two every time I've gone out for the past month and a half. The flounder fishing is better when the tide is out going...in my opinion I have no idea if that's factual or not.

I may stick to hechshire drive this weekend, but I love fishing mill cove.... Usually launch from Lonnie.

Let me know if anyone ever wants to fish the cove.

I haven't seen any reports from mill cove in a while. How has it been lately? Thinking about giving it a try this weekend.

Flounder bite has been picking up pretty good. I picked up 5 flatties in Simpsons on Saturday morning. Jig head tipped with a mud minnow and trolling with the current has been pretty effective for me.

Was in the greater charleston area last week and decided to bring the kayak with me. Fished Thursday morning and caught 9 flounder in 4 hours....had no idea the flounder fishery up there was so good! Fished Simpsons creek 5/21 out going tide. Ended the day catching 9 under sized trout drifting a jig head tipped with a mud Minnow. I moved here from ohio a year ago and have caught my share of bull reds and a couple of nice doormats. However, the gator trout continues to elude me. If anyone has any...
